Terry Quackenbush, 72 of Hallam, passed away January 7th, 2022. He was born September 10th, 1949 to Paul and Betty Quackenbush. Terry joined the United States Marine Corp where he proudly fought for his country in the Vietnam War. Terry's motto about meeting new people was "a friend I haven't met yet". He was a people person and a fine handyman. His charm didn't go unnoticed. Terry was active in many social groups over the years including the dance chairman for the Hickman Legion #105 and Parents without Partners in Grand Island. In his later life and with the decline of his health, Terry found his joy on his farm with his dog "Woody" and visits from family, friends and loved ones. Terry is survived by father: Paul, siblings: Larry, Mary, Kerry, and Sherry, children: Tracey and Laura, grandchildren: Marissa, Jordan, Jake, Harper, Jackson and Brantley. He is preceded in death by his mother: Betty and brother: Jerry. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 21st at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber from 5-7 pm. The memorial service will be on Saturday, January 22nd at 11 am at the funeral home. Cremation. No graveside service. A luncheon immediately following will be provided by the ladies auxiliary at the Hickman Legion in Hickman. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Hickman Legion #105.
