Thomas Lee Bartak was born January 13, 1965 in Crete, Nebraska to Robert L. and Rosemary (Hier) Bartak and went to be with His Lord on July 1, 2019 at the age of 54 years. He was a graduate of Crete High School and worked at Farmland Foods for many years and in 1991 went to work for Sampson Construction. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a lifelong Husker fan. He is survived by his mother; Rosemary Bartak, children; Amber, Krystell, Brandon and Kyle Bartak and Andrew Walker, grandchildren; Angel, Shinn, Brenden, Izzabella, Mariam, Yasmeen and Auviana, brothers and sisters; David, Larry, Elizabeth, Renae, Patty and Anthony, nieces; Christina Wood, Cassie Hynes, his girlfriend; Laura Durst and special friends; Mandy Auman and Neal Kemling. He was preceded in death by his father; Robert L. Bartak and brother; Michael. Funeral services will be held at Kuncl Funeral Home, Crete, Nebraska on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:30 AM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 7 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to help with funeral expenses.
