Victor Lloyd Oliver, 82, was born to Viola (Trimble) and Lloyd Oliver in Kansas.  He moved to Crete, NE in 1965 where he met and married Jeanie Lousie Gilmore on August 16, 1969, making their home in Crete.  Vic worked for Alpo (Nestle Purina) from the plant opening until his retirement.  He loved his sports teams, especially Nebraska, Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals.  He loved to joke, laugh and be there for his family and friends.  He is survived by his brother, Melvin (Lolly) Oliver, Washington, KS, sister-in-law's; Sondra Barry, Lincoln, NE, Susie Morris (Ben Haufle), Dorchester, NE, Mary (Joe) Salcedo, Omaha, NE, brother-in-law's; Gene (Linda) Gilmore, Papillion, NE, William (Lynn) Gilmore, Omaha, NE, Joe Caldwell, Lenorad, OK.  And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Proceeded in death by his wife Jeanie, mother and father Viola and Lloyd, Sister Tilla May, Brother Clifford, sister-in-law Donna Caldwell, brother-in-law's John Gilmore Saxon and Francis "Tee" Barry.  Graveside service scheduled for Saturday February 19, 2022 at 1:30p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Crete, NE.  Memorials are in care of Crete Volunteer Rescue and Fire Dept.  Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
