Virginia (Ginny) Lee Moore was born on July 8, 1933 to Elmer Moore and Thelma (Tavis Moore) Grant in Crete, NE and died on February 10, 2019 at the Crete Area Medical Center. While in high school, Ginny worked part time at Wielage Implement as a bookkeeper which sparked her love for accounting. She graduated from Crete High School in 1951 then moved to Omaha to begin her career at Guarantee Mutual Life where she worked for 42 years. She worked her way up in the company and at the time of her retirement was a Vice President of Accounting. Returning to Crete to be near her family and friends, she enjoyed traveling and going out to eat with her sister and attending family activities for her nieces, nephews and their families. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Siedhoff of Crete, nephews Jim (Pat) Siedhoff of Fredric, WI; Randy (Betty) Siedhoff of Whiteland, IN; Janet (Norm) Pavlish of Milford, NE; Judy (Phil) Brahm of Dewitt, NE; and Sandy (Warren) Vyhnalek of Dorchester, NE. Great nieces and nephews: Missy (Tim) Kinzie [Lincoln, NE], Jake (Kelli) Pavlish [Omaha, NE], Dan (Ashley) Siedhoff [Lincoln, NE], Jason (Ashley) Pavlish [Crete, NE], Lindsey (Jeff) Vlcan [Wilber, NE], Ryan (Jordan) Siedhoff [Kansas City, MO], Tim (Allison) Brahm [Swanton, NE], Kyle (Delen) Roesler [Grand Prairie, TX], Nicole (Justin) Hiatt [Lincoln, NE], Lacey (Nate) Snyder [Firth, NE], Stephanie (Anthony) Wengler [North Platte, NE], Brandon Vyhnalek [Metairie, LA], Devon Brahm [DeWitt, NE], Stephanie (Shawn) Riley [Patriot, IN] and LaDonna (Eric) Royal [Indianapolis, IN] along with 33 great-great nieces/nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents and step-parents, Elmer & Sylvia Moore, Thelma and Raymond Grant, and brother-in-law Clem Siedhoff. Funeral services will be held at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete, NE on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Kathy Rahorst officiating. Prayer Service: Thursday, 6:00 PM, followed by visitation until 8:00 PM at the funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Crete Public Schools Trust.
