Vivian Irene Brockway was born in Iowa City, Iowa to Lillian E. Orr and James "Red" Wilder on March 30, 1952. After a long battle with illness, she joined her parents, brothers: Mike and Ronnie Wilder, sisters: Linda Fernandez and Eva Parr. She was surrounded by her loving family when departing this world on September 3, 2025, at 8:53 am.
Vivian loved to dance, could always be found watching Gunsmoke, Bonanza and the Rifleman. Family was important to her, and she loved to garden. Her favorite color was purple, and lilacs were her favorite flower.
Vivian may not have always done what was right, but she did what she believed was best. She was a big fan of Elvis and Husker Football.
She is survived by brothers: David and Jimmy Wilder. Sisters: Connie Wilder and Betty Kellogg. Loving partner: Francisco "Poncho" Vargas. Son: Troy Bainbridge. Daughters: Colleen and Dwan Bainbridge, Melissa Wright. Grandchildren: Kyle and Alex Courtright. Karl Jr., Tiffany and Deacon Proctor. Tiffany Bainbridge, Hali Summers, Cody Mckinney and Brianna. Alyssa McIntyre, Taylor, Nicolas, Camden, Keegan, Kennedy and Chole Bainbridge. Harley Humphries.

Private Services will be held for Vivian as per her wishes. Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete.
