Vonnell Briggs, 42, of Lincoln tragically died Friday December 14th in a car accident. Vonnell was a social butterfly with many friends. She loved animals, especially cats, and she had a collection of ceramic cats. She loved nature and enjoyed the warm months of the year doing a lot of outside activities. She was a big-hearted, forgiving and loving person. She was determined to help others even though they may have let her down. She especially loved eating out.
She is survived by: Daughters: Kaylee Briggs, Desiree Johns, Natilee Johnson; Mother: Cheral (Duane) Powell, Father: Rick (Janice) Johns, Sister: Amber Johns, Brother: Matthew Farewell, Grandmother: Mary Lou Clark and aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, great niece, nephews, stepbrothers and stepsisters.
Preceded in death by: Brother: Nathan Johns, Grandparents: John and Helen Pappas and Donald Clark.
A celebration of Vonnell's life will be Friday, December 21st at 10:30 am at the Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete. The visitation with family will be Thursday, December 20th 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
