Owner & Funeral Director

Jeff graduated from Crete High School in 1991. He attended Doane College in Crete and Kansas City Community College studying Mortuary Science. He was licensed in 1995 and currently manages the Crete and Wilber offices. Jeff is the fourth generation of the Kuncl family to continue in the funeral business.

Lynne Vejraska

Office Manager

Lynne Vejraska has been with Kuncl Funeral Home since we purchased Zajicek Funeral Home in 2004. Prior to this, she had worked for Zajiceks since graduating from school. She is the office manager for the Crete and Wilber offices.

Russ Sears

Funeral Associate

Russ started at Kuncl Funeral Home in the fall of 2015. He and his wife have lived in Crete for many years, so he is a familiar face to a lot of people. Russ typically helps with funeral services as well as other tasks around the funeral home.

Office Assistant

Scott Kuncl has always been a familiar face around Kuncl Funeral Home as he has helped in many different capacities. He is primarily in charge of the accounting and payroll section but does occasionally assist with services. He is also instrumental in helping with any repairs or projects with the buildings.
