The Second Generation

Joseph Kuncl's son, Robert K., joined his father in business in 1928. He received his education from Doane College in Crete and Cincinnati College of Embalming. In 1930, the business moved to the west side of Main Street between 12th and 13th. Joseph passed away in 1931, and Robert moved the funeral business from the furniture store into a two room house at 131 West 12th Street, which is the same location of Kuncl Funeral Home today.
